Final Rasmussen Poll Results - 2010 Governor Elections

After the votes have been cast each election season, Rasmussen Reports publicly displays a side-by-side comparison showing its final race polling versus the actual election results in each state. Below is a comparison chart for the 2010 Gubernatorial mid-terms.

According to noted national political analyst Larry Sabato, director of the Center for Politics at the University of Virginia, “This was one tough election to poll and forecast, and no one came close to getting all the races right. But from my vantage point, Rasmussen Reports caught the major trends of the election year nationally and in most states.”

Rasmussen Reports evaluates its overall survey performance in a series of post-election articles, including Election 2010: How Did We Do?, A Look At Polling in the Toss-Up States and What’s Up With Nevada?  Scott Rasmussen also reviewed the mid-terms in a recent Washington Examiner article.

Note: Actual results are as of 10:45 p.m. on November 16, 2010 and are subject to change.
