Americans Stand Behind President Law and Order
A Commentary By Brian Joondeph
In recent weeks, more protests and riots have emerged in a similar manner, not spontaneous but organized and funded. This includes the delivery of pallets of bricks to inner cities, not for construction but as weapons against law enforcement, vehicles, and buildings. Additionally, there are paid ads seeking protesters, although the media is quick to label these as pranks.
The ongoing protests and riots align with what is known as the Cloward-Piven strategy, introduced in the mid-1960s by two sociology professors from Columbia University.
Cloward-Piven’s objective is chaos and turmoil, or in their words, “A massive drive to recruit the poor onto the welfare rolls.” This is followed by: “A federal program of income redistribution [that] has become necessary to elevate the poor en masse from poverty.”
What is illegal immigration if not an attempt to recruit impoverished, unskilled, and frequently illiterate migrants onto American welfare rolls, only to be counted in the census?
The Center for Immigration Studies estimates that immigrants — both legal and illegal — counted in the 2020 census shifted 17 seats in the House of Representatives and electoral votes in the Electoral College.
This explains why Democrats, along with their corporate and media allies, support illegal immigration, promote riots, downplay their severity, and continually refer to them as "peaceful protests.”
Fortunately, President Donald Trump stands apart from previous presidents who have kept the borders open at the request of the donor class, the Wall Street Journal, and the Chamber of Commerce, contributing to America’s decline while ensuring a steady supply of cheap labor. After all, wealthy Democrats and Republicans require their houses cleaned and their lawns mowed in a spirit of bipartisanship.
Trump was elected, as he stated in a 2016 campaign speech, with a primary goal: “Our movement is about replacing a failed and corrupt political establishment with a new government controlled by you, the American people.”
Trump called for the National Guard and U.S. Marines to restore, as he frequently tweeted, “Law and Order.” What do the American people think?
Rasmussen Reports asked this question, answered in their polling.
“Even while President Donald Trump’s immigration policy remains controversial, most voters support his decision to use the National Guard to stop attacks on federal immigration agents in Los Angeles.”
They specifically found, “Fifty-seven percent (57%) of voters approve of Trump deploying the National Guard.”
Corporate media will claim that the 57% must be white supremacist MAGA neo-Nazi types. But not so fast on that assumption.
A League of American Workers poll in June 2025 sampled 1,584 registered voters. They found that, “53 percent of Hispanic voters said they somewhat or strongly support increasing deportations, particularly for individuals with criminal records.”
Overall, nearly six in ten registered voters support the Trump administration’s emphasis on increasing deportations and law enforcement measures.
It is not surprising that legal immigrants — those who wait in line and follow the rules — are unhappy with freeloaders who cut in line. They show their appreciation by burning the American flag and causing mayhem and destruction.
Harvard/Harris also conducted a poll of 2097 registered voters. While 55% blame Trump for the LA riots, 56% support his decision to call in the National Guard to quell the unrest.
That may seem contradictory, but legacy media holds President Trump accountable for everything, accompanied by a continuous flow of negative coverage. Specifically, the Media Research Center found 92% negative coverage of Trump during his first 100 days in the White House.
The Rasmussen Report’s Daily Presidential Tracking Poll indicates that Trump has a 52% total approval rating as of June 17, a figure that has remained at or above 50% over the past couple of weeks amid immigration discontent, the milquetoast “No Kings” rallies, and the outbreak of war between Israel and Iran.
Despite media outcry labeling Trump as a king, fascist, dictator, and tyrant, he is in fact a president of law and order, as he often posts on social media. Furthermore, a majority of Americans approve.
