In Missouri, the latest Rasmussen Reports survey shows President Bush with 48% of the vote and Senator Kerry with 44%. Four years ago, Bush won the state of Missouri by a narrow 50% to 47% margin. These results represent a slight improvement for the President compared to the prior month. In that earlier survey, Bush was up by a single point, 44% to 43%. However, despite the improvement, Missouri remains in the "Toss-up" category for our Electoral College projections. Among Missouri Investors, Bush leads 53% to 43%. However, among non-Investors, Kerry has a three-point edge, 46% to 43%. In Missouri, 53% of all voters Approve of the way President Bush is performing his job. That's down a point from a month ago but slightly above his national Job Approval rating. Among voters who are not affiliated with either major political party, 58% give the President's performance their Approval. Data for Missouri will be updated again early next month.
