As the Republican Convention is being held in New York, President Bush is viewed favorably by 54% of American voters and unfavorably by another 45%. For Senator Kerry, the numbers are 50% favorable and 47% unfavorable. These figures will be updated weekly from now through Election Day on RasmussenReports.com. A survey of 1,000 adults conducted September 1 found that 64% of Likely Voters have a favorable opinion of former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani while 20% have an unfavorable view. California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is viewed favorably by 55% and unfavorably by 31%. For Senator John McCain, the numbers are 54% favorable and 22% unfavorable.
