Alabama: Bush 52% Kerry 38%

In Alabama, the latest Rasmussen Reports survey shows President Bush leading by 14 percentage points over Senator Kerry.

The 52% to 38% margin for the President is similar to his sixteen point victory in the state four years ago. In Election 2000, Bush carried Alabama by a 57% to 41% margin.

In last month's Alabama poll, Bush was ahead 57% to 36% in

Bush leads by more than 20 points among Alabama Investors. He has a much smaller lead among non-Investors.

Kerry leads Bush leads by 20 points among voters not affiliated with either of the major parties.

Sixty-four percent (64%) of all Alabama voters Approve of the way President Bush is performing his job. That's up four points from a month ago and way above his national Job Approval rating. Even 40% of Alabama Democrats give the President's job performance their approval.
