Majority of Americans Still Unfazed about North Korea

Thirty-nine percent (39%) of Americans say that George Washington is the greatest of the nation’s Founding Fathers. A Rasmussen Reports survey of 1,000 adults found that 26% named Thomas Jefferson as the greatest of the Founders while 21% preferred Benjamin Franklin.

Two-thirds of Americans (69%) are likely to watch fireworks over the Fourth of July weekend. A Rasmussen Reports survey also found that 59% will enjoy a cook-out, 31% will sing patriotic songs, and 15% will participate in or watch a parade.

Is it appropriate for gay and lesbian church members to serve as pastors and bishops in a Christian Church? Two thirds (67%) of those who attend Church weekly say no. Just 27% of those faithful worshippers say yes.
