56% of Public School Parents Would Use Vouchers
If school choice vouchers were available, more than half of parents with children in public school would take advantage of the programs to send their kids to private school.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 56% of American Adults with children attending public schools say they would send their child to a private school if they could get a school-choice voucher to pay for the tuition. Only 32% would not, while 12% are not sure. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
