Two-Thirds Still Want Traditional Values in School

Americans overwhelmingly believe kids should be taught traditional values, and many don’t think schools are doing a good job of it.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 67% of American Adults believe it’s somewhat important for schools to teach the traditional values of Western Civilization, including 40% who say it’s Very Important. This finding is down from March 2023, when 78% said teaching traditional values was at least somewhat important. Twenty-one percent (21%) now don’t think it’s important to teach traditional Western values, while 11% are not sure.
