Wisconsin: Toss-Up for Clinton and Leading Republicans
The race for Wisconsin’s ten Electoral College votes was extraordinarily close in both Election 2000 and Election 2004. A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey finds that it could be close again in Election 2008. Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton finds herself in a toss-up with three Republican hopefuls in the poll. When matched against Rudy Giuliani, it’s Clinton 43% Giuliani 42%. The former First Lady has a three point edge over both Fred Thompson (44% to 41%) and John McCain (43% to 40%).
