Favorability Ratings Improve for Thompson and McCain
Edwards, Giuliani Only Candidates With Overall Ratings at 50% or Above
The polling news for both Fred Thompson and John McCain has been good this week. For the first time in months, Thompson has moved ahead of Giuliani and McCain has moved ahead of Romney in the race for the Republican Presidential nomination. Favorability ratings for both men improved as well, largely erasing the lead that Rudy Giuliani has held for months. Among Republican voters, Giuliani is now viewed favorably by 68%, Thompson by 64%, and McCain by 63%.
