52% Rate Biden ‘Poor’ on Immigration

A majority of voters blame President Joe Biden for the migrant crisis at the Mexico border, and rate him “poor” on his handling of immigration. Most voters also give the media poor ratings for their coverage of America’s immigration problems.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that just 13% of Likely U.S. Voters rate Biden as excellent on his handling of issues related to immigration. Another 17% rate his handling of immigration as good and 15% say Biden is doing a fair job on immigration. However, 52% rate Biden’s handling of immigration issues as poor. Biden’s ratings on immigration have worsened since April, when 50% of voters rated his handling of immigration as poor.  (To see survey question wording, click here.)
