Class of ’23 Faces Tough Job Market, Most Believe
With college graduation season approaching, a majority of Americans think new grads will have trouble finding jobs.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 63% of American Adults believe it will be difficult for recent college graduates to find a job in the current economy, including 23% who say it will be Very Difficult. Thirty-one percent (31%) don’t think this year’s college grads will have difficulty finding a job. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The survey of 1,012 American Adults was conducted on April 20 and 23-24, 2023 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research.
