Twin Cities Worker Confidence Hits Another Low; Financial Perceptions Dismal

The Hudson Employment IndexSM for Minneapolis-St. Paul workers inched down just .9 points to 92.1 in August. Local worker confidence has been steadily declining since February, as hiring expectations and personal financial perceptions continue to slip. The city’s latest reading is the lowest on record and 6.5 points below last years reading of 98.6. The composite Index, based on responses from approximately 9,000 workers nationwide, rose one point to 102.9.
