Employees Value Corporate Social Responsibility, Just Not for Making Job Decisions

Hudson Survey Finds Just 7% Have Turned Down Job Offer for Lack of Such Programs

Three-quarters (75 percent) of U.S. workers think companies have responsibilities to the community, but a resounding 70 percent don't consider a prospective employer's corporate social responsibility (CSR) program very important when it comes to evaluating job offers. In fact, only seven percent of today's work force claims that they have ever rejected an offer based on the lack of a company's CSR program. These findings come from a new survey by Hudson, a leading provider of permanent recruitment, contract professionals and talent management services worldwide.
