Voters OK With Mueller’s Report; Most Say it Was An Honest Effort

Wednesday, March 27, 2019

Voters generally approve of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report exonerating President Trump, although Republicans are more critical than ever of his probe and Democrats aren’t as happy about Mueller as they used to be.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters are satisfied with the conclusions reached by Mueller that there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government in the 2016 presidential campaign and no proof of obstruction of justice on the part of the president. Thirty-six percent (36%) are not satisfied, while 13% are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
