Is the U.S. President the Most Powerful Man on Earth?

Voters believe more strongly these days that the president of the United States is the leader of the world community and that the level of power he has is appropriate.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that a plurality (47%) of Likely U.S. Voters now thinks the American president is the most powerful person in the world. Forty percent (40%) disagree, while 13% are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
