In Wisconsin, the latest Rasmussen Reports survey shows President Bush with 49% of the vote and Senator Kerry with 47%. Four years ago, Bush and Gore each received 48% of the vote in Wisconsin. Gore won the state by fewer than 5,000 votes out of 2.5 million. Our last survey in the state found very similar results--Bush 48% Kerry 45%. The state remains in the Toss-Up column for our Electoral College projections. Forty-four percent (44%) of Wisconsin voters believe the country is headed in the right direction. Among Republicans 83% say we're heading in the right direction. That view is shared by just 8% of Democrats and 42% of unaffiliated voters. Premium Members receive weekly updates for Wisconsin and 14 other states. They also receive Daily Tracking Updates for Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. In Wisconsin, 49% of all voters Approve of the way President Bush is performing his job. That's down three points from our last survey and below his national Job Approval rating.
