In Ohio, the latest Rasmussen Reports survey shows Senator Kerry with 46% of the vote and President Bush with 45%. Just one month ago, Bush held a four-point lead in the state, 46% to 42%. The month before, it was Bush 46% Kerry 44% in our Ohio poll.

These latest figures mean that Ohio remains firmly in the "Toss-up" category for our Electoral College projections (we require a five point lead before moving a state from Toss-Up status).

Four years ago, in Election 2000, Ohio went for Bush over Al Gore, 50% Gore 46%.

Currently, Bush is attracting 72% of the conservative vote while Kerry has 83% of the liberal vote. Moderates favor Kerry 55% to 36%.

In Ohio, 54% of all voters Approve of the way President Bush is performing his job. That's up three points from a month ago and above the President's national Job Approval rating.

Data for Ohio will be updated again early next month.
