Georgia: Bush 52% Kerry 41%

In Georgia, the latest Rasmussen Reports survey shows President Bush with 52% of the vote and Senator Kerry with 41%. This 11-point lead is very close to the 12 point margin of victory for Bush in Georgia four years ago.

Last month, our Georgia poll found Bush ahead 51% to 39%. Georgia remains safely in the Bush column for our Electoral College projections.

In Georgia, Bush leads by 13 points among men and 9 points among women. Bush also leads by 13 points among Investors and by 9 points among non-Investors.

Fifty-eight percent (58%) of all Georgia voters Approve of the way President Bush is performing his job. That's up three points from a month ago and well above his national Job Approval rating.

Data for Georgia will be updated again early next month. Our recent state releases included Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.
