Voters Support U.S. Sanctions Against Saudi Arabia In Death of Journalist

If the Saudi government was involved in the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, most voters think the nation should be reprimanded by the United States.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 68% of Likely U.S. Voters believe the United States should impose sanctions on Saudi Arabia if it’s proven that the nation was involved in the disappearance and suspected murder of Khashoggi, a Saudi journalist who had been critical of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Fifteen percent (15%) disagree with U.S.-imposed sanctions on Saudi Arabia, while another 17% are not sure. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
