Voters Aren’t Sold on Troop Withdrawal from Syria

Wednesday, December 26, 2018

President Trump, intent on getting U.S. troops out of the Middle East, has angered hawkish members of both major political parties with his decision to withdraw from Syria. Voters tend to oppose his decision as well.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 37% of Likely U.S. Voters agree with Trump’s decision to remove all U.S. troops from Syria, but 47% disagree. A sizable 16%, however, are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Starting Thursday (Dec 27) & continuing through New Year's week, Rasmussen Reports’ exclusive subscriber data level - Platinum - will be open to everyone. See the detailed data behind all of our polls. Stay tuned for more information!
