What They Told Us: Reviewing Last Week’s Key Polls
In surveys last week, this is what America told Rasmussen Reports:
- President Trump ended the polling week on Friday with a daily job approval of 47%.
- Most Americans will gather with family and friends for today’s annual Thanksgiving holiday, and two-thirds will be near home for the occasion.
- President Donald Trump’s proposal to allow 600,000 students from China to attend American universities continues to meet resistance from voters.
- Four out of five voters think corruption is a problem in Washington, D.C., but they’re divided over who could clean it up.
- Voters are divided over President Donald Trump’s policy regarding Israel and the Middle East, as Democrats have shifted sharply toward sympathy with the Palestinians.
- Stores may be a bit less crowded for Black Friday sales this year, as most Americans don’t expect to make shopping excursions today.
- Only a third of Americans believe diversity equity and inclusion (DEI) programs make businesses better, and many see white males as the victims of DEI-based discrimination.
- Thirty-nine percent (39%) of Likely U.S. Voters think the country is heading in the right direction.
