Strait of Hormuz: Most See Serious Economic Impact From Shutdown

The Iran war has shut down oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz, and most voters are concerned over how that will affect the U.S. economy.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 76% of Likely U.S. Voters are concerned about Iran cutting off a significant percentage of the world’s oil supply, including 47% who are Very Concerned. Just 22% aren’t concerned about Iran closing the strait. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
