‘Fascist Dictatorship’? 72% of Democrats Think So
Most voters believe the checks and balances of the Constitution are still working, but nearly three-quarters of Democrats believe President Donald Trump has become a “fascist” dictator.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 51% of Likely U.S. Voters believe that the constitutional system of checks and balances between the three branches of the federal government – executive, legislative and judicial – is currently working effectively, including 20% who say it’s working Very Effectively. Forty-five percent (45%) don’t think the system of checks and balances is working effectively now, including 18% who say it’s Not At All Effectively working.
