Confidence in War on Terror Falls Again

Only 33% Believe U.S. & Allies Winning War on Terror

Confidence that that the U.S. and its allies are winning the War on Terror has fallen once again. For the second straight survey, both conducted following the report from the Iraq Study Group, a plurality believes that the terrorists are winning. In early January, just 33% believe the U.S. allies are winning while 36% say the terrorists are winning.

A month ago, 35% believed the allies were willing. With just one exception, these back-to-back results are the lowest level of confidence measured since Rasmussen Reports began regularly tracking this question three years ago.
