National Survey of 1,000 Likely Voters
Conducted March 10-11, 2014
By Rasmussen Reports
1* Generally speaking how do you rate the way that the U.S. House
of Representatives is doing its job…Excellent, good, fair or poor?
2* The House of
Representatives has 435 voting members representing all 50 states. Is the
membership of the House too big, too small or about right?
3* A proposal has been made to add another 100 to
200 members to the House to make congressional districts smaller and
representatives closer to the voters. Do you favor or oppose a proposal to
increase the size of the House of Representatives by 100 to 200 members?
4* Which is more likely - that
a bigger House would do a better job conducting the people's business or that a
bigger House would just be more inefficient and bureaucratic?
5* Right now, is it worth the effort to
try to contact your congressman or senator to express an opinion on an issue
that’s important to you?
