you followed recent news stories about the federal government's surveillance
efforts?
2* As part of the effort to fight terrorism, the National Security
Agency has been tracking telephone calls made by millions
of ordinary Americans. Do you favor or oppose the NSA’s tracking of
these phone calls?
3* In the search for terrorists, is it necessary
to collect the phone records of millions of ordinary Americans or
would it be better to collect the phone records only of people suspected
of having terrorist connections?

government be required to show a judge the reason for needing to monitor the
