1* How closely have you followed recent news reports about the
immigration reform plan now before Congress?
2* A comprehensive immigration reform plan has been
proposed that would secure the border and prevent future illegal immigration.
As part of the plan, those who entered the country illegally but have
otherwise obeyed the law would be given legal status to stay in the
United States. If you knew that the border would really be secured to
prevent future illegal immigration, would you favor or oppose this plan?
3* In terms of immigration legislation, which is more
important - gaining control of the border or legalizing the status of
undocumented workers already living in the United States?
4* A non-partisan report estimates that the reform
plan passed by the Senate would reduce illegal immigration by
50%. Is it possible to reduce illegal immigration by more than 50%?
5* The immigration reform plan passed by the Senate
would give legal status to those who have entered the country
