care law?
2* The president’s health care law includes an individual mandate
requiring every American to buy or obtain health insurance. Starting next year,
if Americans don’t have health insurance, they will be forced to pay fines. Do
you favor or oppose an individual mandate that requires every American to buy
or obtain health insurance?
3* The president’s law also includes an employer mandate
requiring companies with 50 or more employees offer health insurance to their
employees. Do you favor or oppose an employer mandate requiring companies with
50 or more employees to offer health insurance?
4* The Obama
Administration just announced it will delay implementation of the employer
mandate requiring companies to offer health insurance. Should it also delay
implementation of the individual mandate requiring every American to buy or
obtain health insurance?
5* The president’s health care law provides health
insurance subsidies for low-income Americans who don’t have access to health
insurance from their employer. To qualify for subsidies, should these
individuals be forced to prove they are eligible by documenting their income
and lack of access to insurance? Or, should it simply be assumed that all
applicants are giving honest information on their applications?
