1* The new district attorney in New York City has announced that he will not seek prison sentences for many crimes, and will treat many felony cases as misdemeanors. Is this policy likely to increase crime or decrease crime? Or will it not make much difference?

2* If a candidate for office in your community advocated reducing or eliminating prison sentences for most crimes, would that make you more or less likely to vote for that candidate? Or would it not make much difference?

3* Which party do you trust more to deal with the problem of violent crime, Democrats or Republicans? Or are the two parties about the same in dealing with violent crime?
