National Survey of 1,000 U.S. Likely Voters

Conducted January 19-20, 2020
By Rasmussen Reports

1* How would you rate President Trump's handling of trade issues - excellent, good, fair or poor?

2* In his dealings with China, is President Trump more aggressive or less aggressive than most recent presidents in pushing what's best for America? Or is his attitude about the same as that of most of his recent predecessors?

3* The United States and China have signed phase one of a new trade deal that increases Chinese purchases of U.S. farm goods and other products and services and also protects U.S. intellectual property. But high tariffs remain in place in both countries. A year from now, will America's trade relationship with China be better than it is today, worse than it is today or about the same?

4* Will the new trade deal between the United States and China be good or bad for your personal finances? Or will it have no impact?
