Most Voters Want Congress to Work With Biden
Americans don’t expect the new Congress to be better than the last one, but most say it would be better for Congress to work with President-elect Joe Biden than to oppose him.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 53% of Likely U.S. Voters believe it will be better for the country if Congress works with Biden most of the time. Thirty-five percent (35%) say it would be better if Congress opposes the president most of the time, while 12% are not sure.

The survey of 1,000 Likely U.S. Voters was conducted on January 4-5, 2021 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. See methodology.
