Forty-nine percent (49%) disapprove of his job performance, including 43% who Strongly Disapprove. This is comparable to Trump’s job approval nationwide in Rasmussen Reports’ daily Presidential Tracking Poll.

Forty-nine percent (49%) have a favorable view of the president, while 50% percent (50%) share an unfavorable opinion of him. This includes Very Favorables of 36% and Very Unfavorables of 44%.

Nationally, voters express nearly the same level of trust in both Trump and Biden when it comes to the major issues facing the nation. The exception is the environment where Biden has a clear lead.

Most voters say the upcoming presidential election is about Trump and rate Biden’s agenda of secondary importance. Enthusiasm about the election continues to grow following the two major parties’ conventions, especially among Republicans.
