Conducted October 7, 2013

By Rasmussen Reports

* How would you rate the job Barack Obama has been doing as president…do you strongly approve, somewhat approve, somewhat disapprove, or strongly disapprove of the job he’s been doing?

* How would you rate the job Chris Christie has been doing as governor…do you strongly approve, somewhat approve, somewhat disapprove, or strongly disapprove of the job he’s been doing?

* If the election for governor of New Jersey were held today, would you vote for Republican Chris Christie or Democrat Barbara Buono?

* I’m going to read you a short list of people in the news. For each, please let me know if you have a very favorable, somewhat favorable, somewhat unfavorable, or very unfavorable impression.

* How would you rate your own personal finances these days?

* How would you rate the way the government has responded to the areas affected by Hurricane Sandy?

* Has Chris Christie’s campaign been mostly positive, mostly negative or about right?

* Has Barbara Buono’s campaign been mostly positive, mostly negative or about right?

* Do you have a very favorable, somewhat favorable, somewhat unfavorable or very unfavorable impression of the president’s health care law?
