*Please note that we split the survey to rotate the order of the candidates, so while half will hear the Republican first, the other half hears the Democrat mentioned first.

1* In thinking about the 2012 Election for United States Senate suppose you had a choice between Republican Connie Mack and Democrat Bill Nelson.  If the election were held today would you vote for Republican Connie Mack or Democrat Bill Nelson? 

2* Suppose the Republicans nominate George LeMieux.  If the 2012 Election for United States senate were held today would you vote for Republican George LeMieux or Democrat Bill Nelson?

 

3* What if the Republicans nominate Mike McCalister? Is the election for US Senate were held today would you vote for Democrat Bill Nelson or Republican McCalister?

5* A proposal has been made that would let people select their own Social Security and       Medicare retirement age. Those who wanted to retire earlier would pay more in taxes and those who wanted to pay less in taxes would retire later. So long as they are paying enough to cover the cost of their own decision, should people have the right to pick their own Social Security and Medicare retirement age?

 

6* Is it possible to reduce the cost of Medicare by changing Medicare or is it necessary to reduce the overall cost of health care services in the United States?

 

7* Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: “The United States should not commit its forces to military action overseas unless the cause is vital to our national interest.”

8* Should the United States remove its troops from Western Europe and let the Europeans defend themselves?
