New Hampshire Governor: Hassan (D) 50%, Lamontagne (R) 45%

Democrat Maggie Hassan has pulled ahead of Republican Ovide Lamontagne on the eve of New Hampshire’s gubernatorial election.  The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely New Hampshire Voters finds Hassan with 50% of the vote to Lamontagne’s 45%. North Carolina Governor: McCrory (R) 54%, Dalton (D) 35%

Republican Pat McCrory continues to hold a comfortable lead over Lieutenant Governor Walter Dalton in North Carolina’s gubernatorial race. 

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in the state finds McCrory with 54% support to Dalton’s 35%.  One percent (1%) prefers some other candidate, while a sizable 10% are undecided.  (To see survey question wording, click here.)

North Dakota Governor: Dalrymple (R) 53%, Taylor (D) 39%

Republican incumbent Jack Dalrymple continues to hold a healthy lead over his Democratic challenger Ryan Taylor in the North Dakota gubernatorial race. 

A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely North Dakota Voters finds Dalrymple earning 53% of the vote to Ryan Taylor's 39%.  Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided.  (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The race to be Washington’s next governor remains virtually tied.

A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in the state finds Democrat Jay Inslee holding a slight edge over Republican Rob McKenna, 47% to 45%. One percent (1%) prefers some other candidate, while eight percent (8%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

51% in Wisconsin Approve of Governor Walker's Job Performance

Wisconsin voters are almost evenly divided over how the governor they almost removed from office is doing these days. A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Wisconsin Voters finds that 51% at least somewhat approve of Governor Scott Walker's job performance, including 41% who Strongly Approve. Race for New Hampshire Governor Is Wide Open

The race to be New Hampshire’s next governor has no clear favorite at this early stage.

A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely New Hampshire Voters finds the top Republican hopefuls – attorney Ovide Lamontagne and former State Representative Kevin Smith – running neck-and-neck with former Democratic State Senator Jackie Cilley and only slightly ahead of another Democratic hopeful, ex-state Senator Maggie Hassan.

But 20% to 25% of voters in the state like some other candidate or are undecided in every case. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

53% in Wisconsin Now Approve Of Governor Walker’s Job Performance

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s approval ratings are up slightly following his victory in the state’s June 5 special recall election. Fifty-three percent (53%) of Likely Voters in the Badger State now at least somewhat approve of the job Walker is doing as governor, according to a new Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey.  Forty-seven percent (47%) disapprove of his job performance.  Those figures include 45% who Strongly Approve and 39% who Strongly Disapprove.  (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Embattled Republican Governor Scott Walker holds a five-point lead over his newly nominated Democratic challenger Tom Barrett in Wisconsin’s special recall election.

A new Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey shows that 50% of the state’s Likely Voters prefer Walker while 45% choose Barrett. Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate and another two percent (2%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

54% in Wisconsin Oppose Recall of GOP Governor Walker

Most Wisconsin voters approve of the job embattled Governor Scott Walker is doing and oppose the effort to recall him from office before the next election.

A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey finds that 52% of Likely Wisconsin Voters at least somewhat approve of Walker’s job performance to date, while 46% at least somewhat disapprove. These findings include 40% who Strongly Approve of how the Republican governor is doing and just as many (40%) who Strongly Disapprove. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
