Republican Governor Dave Heineman still holds a better than two-to-one lead over Democratic challenger Mike Meister in his bid for reelection in Nebraska.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in the Cornhusker State shows Heineman earning 61% support to Meister’s 28%. Three percent (3%) like some other candidate in the race, and eight percent (8%) are undecided.
Nebraska remains Solid GOP in the Rasmussen Reports Election 2010 Gubernatorial Scorecard.
In mid-July, just after Meister announced his candidacy, Heineman posted a 71% to 18% lead.
The statewide survey of 500 Likely Voters in Nebraska was conducted on September 2, 2010 by Rasmussen Reports.
