Voters Consider Border Security More Important Than Ukraine
Securing the borders of the United States is a higher priority for voters than the war in Ukraine, and most agree with a Republican senator’s criticism of more military aid for Ukraine.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 64% of Likely U.S. Voters consider it important for the United States to send military aid to Ukraine, including 36% who view it as Very Important. Thirty-three percent (33%) don’t think U.S. military aid to Ukraine is important, including 16% who say it’s Not At All Important. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The survey of 868 U.S. Likely Voters was conducted on February 13-15, 2024 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research.
