Rating President Biden on the Issues

Voters Rate Biden Worse on Crime Than on Economy

Violent crime is a bigger concern than inflation for most voters, and President Joe Biden gets worse ratings for dealing with crime than he does for how he’s handling the economy.

A new national telephone and online survey by Rasmussen Reports finds that of 21% voters rate Biden as excellent on his handling of economic issues and another 21% rate his handling of the economy as good.  Twelve percent (12%) say Biden is doing a fair job on the economy, but 43% rate Biden’s handling of economic issues as poor. Those numbers haven’t changed much since April, when 23% of voters rated Biden excellent on economic issues. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
