Most Voters Expect Biden-Trump Rematch in 2024

Nearly two-thirds of voters think the 2024 election will probably pit President Joe Biden in another contest against former President Donald Trump.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 64% of Likely U.S. voters believe it’s likely that Biden will be the Democratic Party nominee in 2024, including 32% who say it is Very Likely. Twenty-nine percent (29%) don’t think Biden is likely to be the 2024 Democratic nominee, including 14% who say it’s Not At All Likely. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The survey of 972 U.S. Likely Voters was conducted on March 14-16, 2023 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research.
