Fans Say A-Rod, Beckett Deserve MVP, Cy Young
National League Choices Less Clear
Baseball fans have a clear preference as to who should win the year end Most Valuable Player and Cy Young Awards in the American League. However, in the National League the winners are far from clear cut. According to the latest Rasmussen Reports survey of 500 baseball fans, 36% believe that Alex Rodriguez should win the American League Most Valuable Player award this season. David Ortiz of the Boston Red Sox was the closest competitor to Rodriguez at 14%, while the remaining candidates failed to reach double digits.
