Poll: 85% Want Less Media Coverage of Anna Nicole Smith

Americans have had enough—more than enough—of news stories about Anna Nicole Smith. A Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 85% of American adults believe the media has paid too much attention to the story of her death. Just 2% think more coverage is appropriate. Only 8% of Americans say they’ve been following the story Very Closely. Another 25% say they’ve been following it Somewhat Closely. The former Playboy Playmate of the Year, whose marriage to an 89 year old billionaire led to years of legal battles over his estate, was viewed favorably by 23% of Americans and unfavorably by 67%.
