St. Patrick’s Day: Nearly Half Will Wear Green, But Only 29% Will Have a Drink

Americans don’t consider St. Patrick’s Day one of the nation’s most important holidays, but nearly half say they’ll wear green Wednesday to mark the traditional Irish holiday.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 47% of American Adults say they will wear green for St. Patrick’s Day. Thirty-one percent (31%) say they won’t wear green and 21% are not sure. (To see survey question wording, click here.) LINK
