Bah, Humbug? Nearly Two-Thirds Say Christmas Is Too Commercialized
Tired of the endless holiday shopping hype? You’re certainly not alone, as most Americans think Christmas has become too commercialized.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 65% of American Adults believe Christmas is over-commercialized, while 27% say it’s not.(To see survey question wording, click here.)

The survey of 1,000 American Adults was conducted on December 6-7, 2022 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research.
