More Americans View Boy Scouts Favorably

Despite the criticism surrounding President Trump’s speech at their jamboree last month, the Boy Scouts of America are viewed more favorably among Americans, but still remain slightly less popular than the Girl Scouts.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 75% of American Adults have a favorable opinion of the Boy Scouts, including 35% who have a Very Favorable impression. The overall finding is up from 68% in 2015 and 65% in May 2013. Just 16% have an unfavorable opinion of the Boy Scouts, including four percent (4%) who view them Very Unfavorably.
