Earth Day: Just 33% Think It’s Helping

Today is Earth Day, but only a third of Americans see it making a difference for the environment.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 33% of American Adults believe Earth Day has helped raise the environmental awareness of most Americans, but 38% say it hasn’t, and 29% are not sure. The number who think Earth Day is helping raise awareness is down from 38% in 2021 and is now the lowest since we first asked this question in 2011
