Hudson Index: Industry Sector Yearly Overview

Worker confidence across all seven industry sectors, as measured by the Hudson Employment Index SM, rose throughout 2006, with the largest gain among African American workers.

The average 2006 confidence level for manufacturing workers increased three and a half points from last year. The IT, accounting and finance and legal sectors escaladed between 2.3 and 2.8 points this year.
