Hudson Employment Index Recognized by PR Week

Rasmussen Monthly Survey Produces Recognition for Hudson, Important Leading Indicator Data for Labor Market

The Hudson Employment Index, compiled each month by Rasmussen Reports, LLC, earned PR Week’s 2006 award for the most effective use of research to achieve company communication goals. The Hudson Index, which first appeared in January 2004, has become a leading directional indicator of the country’s job creation performance and unemployment rate.

Rasmussen Reports, which invented the Index in collaboration with Hudson marketing and communication executives, interviews more than 9,000 U.S. workers each month to gauge attitudes on the labor market. Using proprietary analytical tools and sets of foundational criteria, Rasmussen calculates employee sentiment and expresses it in index form.
