35% Say Now Is A Good Time to Sell A House in Their Area

Even though an increasing number of Americans think now is a good time to sell a home in their area, belief that owning a home is a family’s best investment is down.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 47% of American Adults believe buying a home is the best investment a family can make. That’s down from 53% in May and is the lowest level measured since July 2012. Twenty-seven percent (27%) think a home is not a family's best investment, and just as many (28%) are undecided.
