‘Get Woke, Go Broke’? Promoting Causes Doesn’t Help Business
What matters most in business? Quality, say Americans, who don’t care much for companies promoting political causes.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 87% of American Adults say the quality of a company’s products and services is important in making consumer decisions, including 70% who consider it Very Important. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The survey of 1,000 American Adults was conducted on January 18-19 and, 2023 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research.
